By accessing our website (`orbitschat.com`) or utilizing the ORBITS mobile client software, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these draft Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the platform.
2. Description of the Service
ORBITS provides personal real-time messaging, audio radio channels, ephemeral communication, and local media vault services. We reserve the right to improve, modify, or update features to enhance stability and security.
3. Account Responsibilities & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. When utilizing the cloud chat backup feature, you are solely responsible for memorizing or securely storing your backup passphrase; ORBITS cannot recover encrypted backups if the passphrase is lost.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use ORBITS to:
- Transmit unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or conduct automated abuse of server APIs.
- Distribute malware, malicious payloads, or attempt unauthorized exploitation of server infrastructure.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or infringe upon the legal rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent affiliation with ORBITS.
5. Intellectual Property & User Content
You retain all intellectual property rights and full ownership over the text, images, and audio messages you transmit through ORBITS. We claim no ownership over your private content. You grant ORBITS only the technical transmission permissions necessary to deliver your content to your intended recipients.
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis during preview stages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ORBITS and its contributors disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
